Today I returned to one of my favourite clubs in Second Life. Ambrosia is everything I want in a club. I remembered that is was always busy, people were friendly and the music was really good. This time it was all of these.. but even better! The landing point is situated outside the club, and surrounding you is a large shopping mall with loads of brilliant shops. Directly in front of you is the club, which dominates the mall space. It's clearly signed, so you know exactly where you are. Beside the landing point are boards with images of all the Ambrosia DJ's which is pretty cool.
As soon as I walked into the club I was greeted by the dancers on the poles and the DJ greeted me in voice chat. I instantly felt welcome when I entered the club, and I recognised some people immediately. There were roughly 16 or 17 people there but it increased to maybe 23 people.
One thing I noticed was that there aren't any couple dances hogging the dance floor, only the Intan in the corner by the stage and the scripted dance floor.
The music when I arrived was a mix of chart music, rock and some dance, then when that ended
a live singer came onto the stage, a lady called Aurora Matalung. She sang some cool romantic songs, but I don't think the time slot was the best one for her. I was all hyped up from the first dj's music then go straight into slow music wasn't really my kinda thing. Especially when she was promoting couple dancing and my hubby was at rl work :(
One good thing about the dj's at Ambrosia is that they all do voice, which is a great way to keep the vip's entertained, especially when they say people's names.
All in all this has been and will always be one of my fave clubs in sl.
Thank you for reading my first blog, hope you enjoyed! Here are a couple of snaps from my time there.

Experience depends on staff present probably. When i was there, staff only talked to staff and didn't interact with the guests, except the DJ.
During my first visit staff really was interactive with the visistors, however at that moment there were only a few staff members.
At my second visit. There was more staff than guests, lol. They forgot all about the few. Even tipping made no difference at all.
It's what i see often at clubs unfortunate. Many of them develop into a community of members who are often become staff. Then talks stay within that group having little eye for guests... pity.
At first i had a different impression of this club.
Good thing however is: the gesture spamming is minimum.
Anonymous- You certainly have strong opinions of clubs, you would make a great reviewer. Give us your identity so that we know who you are please.
The club is full of vitality...an energy. It's operations are professional, it's staff friendly and insistent on ensuring you a good time.
I come here for interesting conversation and for a good laugh too.
Pro DJ's and a super super shopping mall too. Well done Ambrosia!
