I knew I was in for something special the moment I arrived at Frank’s Place Jazz & Dance Club.
With its huge traffic rating and popularity, I didn’t have my hopes high and boy was I stunned. It’s great!
The build is simply gorgeous. You have to come see it and get lost in it, you can wander all over. Set by the sea, from the large columns and detailed luscious dance hall, Frank’s Place delivers on a wonderful ballroom experience.
Owned by Nanceee and Gymmy Sinatra, this SL and RL couple have put together one of SL’s best jazz bars in their own sim by the same name. Walking up the stairs being greeted by the club’s manager who was standing by the door welcoming guests, I felt like I was entering a ball for a wedding or maybe a fancy cruise evening up on the main dance floor.
The club has a dress code of formal wear, with themed shops around the building if you need to pick up something quick for your night out. Everyone inside (and it was packed when I went!) was dressed up, adding to the rich ambience of the place.
Harry Connick Jr.’s “It Had to be You” was playing on the stream as I changed into a gown and wandered inside. Many couples were dancing, all dressed up, it was great! There wasn’t much public chatter on the floor and no event while I was there, but around the edges people were meeting and greeting, finding partners to dance. Aww, it’s all so cute! The notice board outside had a posting for an upcoming live jazz event.
If you want a place to escape with your loved one, Frank’s is the place to do it. There are small round tables along the balcony where you can have a romantic dinner – complete with cutlery, table cloths, glasses and candles – and then head down the magnificent stairs and slip onto the dance floor.
No detail has been left spared, right up to the framed photos of the Rat Pack up behind the bar. While I was standing writing this, a gorgeous hostess in a black dress came up to me and asked me if I was having a good time. Frank’s, like their namesake, is all class.
The experience was so immersive I actually started feeling bad for the woman in the white dress who was sitting at a table by herself drinking a martini… gosh, I hate that feeling. Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Go rescue her, guys!

Frank's has always been good (grin). I did a review last year of the old club; you can read it here.
I haven't yet been in to the new section, but I'm looking forward to it! Your review just gives me more reason.
